My name is Angelica Ross Alvarez and I'm a private voice teacher in Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
I have been teaching voice lessons for over 15 years with a degree in Vocal Performance from Northwestern University and am the current District Governor of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. I have spent many years singing professionally both in musical theater and opera and also teach voice at the Community College of Rhode Island.
Angelica Voice Studio welcomes beginning through advanced students. My studio specializes in Broadway and Classical training and audition/college prep. Lessons consist of warm-ups, technique, proper music selection, acting and more. Lessons are individually customized for each singer and their particular situation.
I have spent many years traveling around the country and abroad with my husband, who is in the Navy, and my 2 children. We are excited to call Rhode Island our permanent home!
